Physical (printed) Zine

Arthur K. (creator)
This personal zine is "part of an ongoing project of discerning layers of violence that create north america," written partly during a visit to Mexico City and completed in New York City, divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers gentrification and tourism in Mexico City, and the effects of Airbnb, COVID-19, NAFTA and political violence on the city. The second is a personal retrospective on leaving New York City and their Saturn return. The third speaks on David Wojnarowicz's archives at the Fales Library and Special Collections at NYU, including his Magic Box, trip across Aztlán desert, and the social and cultural shifts between generations of New Yorkers in struggle.
